James Moran to speak at Network Of Arab-American Alumni And Professionals - DC Chapter sponsored Moran fundraising event on February 28, 2004
General Discussion Posted by Jonathan Mark on Saturday, January 10, 2004
Moran campaign event appears to be open to the public.
From the Network Of Arab-American Alumni And Professionals - DC Chapter website:

"An Evening with Congressman Jim Moran

NAAP cordially invites you to an evening with Congressman Jim Moran on Saturday, February 28, 2004 at 6:30 PM at the Radisson Hotel Old Town (901 N. Fairfax St, Alexandria, VA). Congressman Moran has served our community with honesty and integrity since 1990. All members are invited to come out and show their support. A light dinner will be served, followed by entertainment. Tickets are just $35 per person ($25 for students). Tables of 10 can be reserved for $350. For more information or to purchase tickets, please contact Ghassan (ghassan@naaponline.org) or Nadia (nadia@naaponline.org)."

The NAAP flyer for the event (you must have Adobe Acrobat installed on your computer in order to view the flyer) says that this is a Moran campaign fundraiser. That ought to mean that anyone who is well-behaved and pays the $35 ought to be able to attend.

The flyer also includes the statement is "Authorized by Moran For Congress."

Just an F.Y.I the day has been changed to Feb. 28th. If you could just update your web site. BTW: We also support Howard Dean, we will be having a fundraiser for him soon.
